Sr Software Engineer ( Linux + C + Java + SQL + Azure + APIs + Git + Production Support) — Sr Software Engineer – Hyderabad, India Looking for a senior engineer to craft high‑performance Linux applications that drive real business outcomes. You’ll lead development, mentor peers, and own production support for critical services. What You’ll Do Design, build, and deliver Linux‑based solutions that add measurable business value. Collaborate with QA, BA, PO, and Agile teams to ensure end‑to‑end delivery. Mentor junior developers and enforce coding best practices. Produce as‑built documentation and automate test cases where possible. Participate in requirement workshops, translate user stories into scalable designs. Provide 2nd‑level production support, including on‑call rotation and incident communication. Drive continuous improvement of SDLC processes and tooling. What You Need 8+ years of IT experience with strong Linux development skills. Proficiency in C on Linux and Java, plus complex SQL Server queries and stored procedures. Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and using Git/GitHub for version control. Knowledge of Azure cloud services and microservices/event‑driven architectures. Experience with distributed, multi‑threaded systems and Agile/SDLC practices. Familiarity with tools such as Spring, Eclipse, Tomcat, and Automic Job Scheduler. Good to Have Microsoft Azure certification or similar cloud credentials. Experience with design patterns, cloud‑native development, and enterprise architecture.
