What You’ll Do
- Partner with business users to capture reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design scalable data pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse structures, and semantic models.
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows and dataflows in Microsoft Fabric.
- Create source‑to‑target mappings, transformation logic, and technical documentation.
- Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, and Power BI reports for performance.
- Support production, troubleshoot issues, and train end users.
What You Need
- 6+ years in data engineering, BI, or analytics.
- Deep hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake, Dataflows, Notebooks, Power BI).
- Strong SQL skills, including query tuning and complex analysis.
- Proven ability to build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, or Databricks (preferred).
- Background in SAP data and enterprise reporting environments (advantage).
Good to Have
- Exposure to HANA modeling, BusinessObjects, or Tableau.
- Experience working in a captive or global capability centre.
- Familiarity with medallion architecture and lakehouse patterns.
