Strive4X Infotech Private Limited is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 7 to 12 years of experience for a remote, full-time position supporting a major multinational client. We are looking for an immediate joiner to design, build, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines and frameworks, translating business needs into effective technical solutions.
This role involves enhancing existing data pipelines, creating new data ingestion and transformation processes, and maintaining high-quality, reliable data systems for analytics and applications. Responsibilities include building and improving end-to-end data pipelines (both batch and streaming), developing ETL/ELT workflows for data transformation, cleansing, and standardization, and designing optimized data layers for analytics and business intelligence. You will also create reusable frameworks for data ingestion, quality control, logging, and monitoring, implement CI/CD and automated testing, ensure data quality and validation, contribute to data modeling efforts, and optimize performance through techniques like partitioning and indexing. Maintaining data security, governance, and compliance, along with preparing technical documentation, are also key aspects of this position.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platforms, with a minimum of 3 years of strong expertise in Google BigQuery including data modeling, optimization, and governance. A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Python (ETL) and SQL pipelines is required, along with 2+ years of experience using Pyspark and 2+ years working with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Metabase, or Periscope. A solid understanding of data governance principles (lineage, cataloging, PII, access control) and strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement are essential.
Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool), Amplitude or other product analytics tools, and experience in EdTech or B2C SaaS environments are considered a plus. Knowledge of AI for BI/semantic layer tools is also beneficial.
This position is located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India, but is fully remote.
