Job Title: Web Developer (Laravel + React + React Native)
Location: Hybrid (Remote + Onsite at Kolkata Office)
Duration: Full-Time, 3-Month Contract
(Possibility of conversion into full-time employment based on performance and project requirements)
Start Period: Mid of August,2025
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with hands-on experience in Laravel, React, React Native to develop Web and Mobile Apps. Candidate should also have a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and AWS. This is a full-time contractual role for 3 months, offering the flexibility of hybrid work – a mix of remote work and onsite in our Kolkata office. You will work closely with product and design teams to build, enhance, and maintain web and mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and deploy web applications using Laravel (PHP) as the backend framework.
• Build and maintain front-end applications using React.js with responsive and modern UI.
• Develop mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including schema creation, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and project manager/product owner to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews (Agile methodology).
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across multiple browsers and devices
• Provide documentation and support for project handover.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in web development
• 2+ years of professional experience in Laravel framework
• 2+ years of professional experience in React.js
• 1+ year of professional experience in React Native
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience working with MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Good to Have Skills:
• Experience in UI/UX design using Figma
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes for deployment
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic understanding of Japanese language
Contract Terms:
Type: Full-time, 3-month contract
