Key Requirements:
• Define electrical and interface requirements for Battery Pack EDS components based on system-level specifications, HV/LV E&E interfaces, and overall electric architecture.
• Develop and maintain wiring schematics in Saber, including wire sizing, connector selection, and electrical simulations for voltage drop, thermal behavior, and load balancing.
• Ensure compliance with electrical validation requirements, including simulation results and physical test plans.
• Ensure proper grounding, shielding, and harness routing in accordance with automotive high-voltage safety standards.
• Provide technical specifications and validation criteria for EDS components such as wiring harnesses, busbars, connectors, terminals, fuses, and insulation materials.
• Drive DFMEA activities for EDS components—identify risks, evaluate failure modes, and implement design mitigations.
