Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead – Databricks & Snowflake – Hyderabad
We need a senior‑level data engineer to own end‑to‑end pipelines and drive modern data architecture for a high‑growth fintech client. This role offers exposure to cutting‑edge lakehouse, mesh and vault designs while leading a skilled engineering squad.
What You’ll Do
Design and build batch and streaming pipelines with PySpark and Databricks.
Create and tune Snowflake data models and DBT transformation jobs.
Write advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and performance‑optimized queries.
Implement real‑time streaming architectures using event‑driven APIs.
Integrate data sources via REST APIs and cloud‑native services.
Optimize workloads for cost, scalability, and speed.
Lead CI/CD and DevOps practices for data pipelines and mentor junior engineers.
What You Need
7‑12 years of data‑engineering experience.
Strong hands‑on PySpark and Databricks expertise.
Deep Snowflake experience with DBT and complex SQL.
Proven ability to build and optimize streaming pipelines.
Experience integrating data through REST APIs and enterprise platforms.
Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud services.
Solid understanding of Data Vault, Data Mesh, Lakehouse & Microsoft Fabric architectures.
Good to Have
Experience with Kafka, Event Hub or Kinesis.
Familiarity with Airflow and Terraform.
Knowledge of Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and CI/CD pipelines.
