We’re seeking a seasoned Java Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance services that power enterprise applications. You’ll work closely with product owners and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into robust backend solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Product Owner to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Lead sprint backlog grooming and assign development tasks to the team.
- Design, develop, and test microservice APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and REST.
- Perform code and design reviews to ensure scalability and best practices.
- Mentor junior developers and promote clean, reusable code standards.
- Integrate and deploy services via CI/CD pipelines on AWS or GCP.
What You Need
- 4+ years of professional Java/J2EE development experience.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and integrating Oracle or NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
- Experience using IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, and Postman for API testing.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with Angular or other front‑end frameworks.
- Exposure to agile Scrum processes and sprint ceremonies.
- Knowledge of additional cloud services beyond core AWS/GCP offerings.
