Job overview and responsibilities

As an Associate Engineer at United you will be responsible for assisting our support team by providing comprehensive documentation and insightful metrics that drive decision making and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, an interest in technology, and a commitment to clear and effective communication.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system manuals, user guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document system designs, configurations, and processes.
  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of key performance metrics to identify trends and insights.
  • Support the creation of dashboards and reports that provide visibility into system performance and team operations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of documentation and metrics standards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation and metrics practices.
  • Respond to documentation-related queries and provide assistance to team members and stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage the priorities for assigned responsibilities and accomplish the work process to meet all deliverables.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.

Qualifications

Required 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related or equivalent field
  • 0-1 years entry level; university graduate
  • Strong written/oral communication skills, data focused, able to work in a team environment, project management, analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred

  • Experience in a technical writing or analyst role
  • Familiarity with IT and software development processes
