Coherent Pixel System Hiring – Consultant / Lead Data Engineer
Location: Chennai
Shift: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST
Mode: WFO / Hybrid

The Technical Lead is the driving force behind the execution and delivery of enterprise data solutions. You will lead a squad of data engineers to build and deploy robust end-to-end analytics pipelines using Azure, Snowflake, and dbt. By deeply understanding Data Vault 2.0 architecture and championing AI-assisted development tools, you will ensure the team writes high-quality, scalable code faster and more efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the hands-on technical expert for the engineering squad.
• Write complex dbt models, configure Azure Data Factory pipelines, and optimize Snowflake compute resources.
• Translate logical Data Vault 2.0 models into physical tables and automated data pipelines.
• Build Hubs, Links, and Satellites with precision.
• Lead AI-driven development initiatives using tools like GitHub Copilot for SQL/dbt code generation, documentation, and testing.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and code review processes.
• Enforce coding standards, Git version control, and dbt validation testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters in Agile delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance.
Required Skills
• 7+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• 2+ years as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer mentoring teams.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python programming skills.
• Strong experience with:
• Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse)
• Snowflake
• dbt
• Data Vault 2.0
• Git & CI/CD pipelines
• Agile methodologies
• AI-assisted coding tools
