Join a fast‑growing team that turns raw map data into actionable insights for LinkedIn’s global products. You’ll build robust pipelines, create interactive visualisations, and work with leading GIS tools—all while shaping the company’s geospatial analytics foundation.
What You’ll Do
Design and optimise spatial and non‑spatial data pipelines.
Build interactive geospatial visualisations with Python mapping libraries.
Process datasets using ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and Google Earth.
Manage large spatial data stores on Azure or AWS.
Partner with data scientists to deliver actionable geospatial insights.
What You Need
3+ years in data engineering and geospatial development.
Strong Python skills with GeoPandas, Shapely, Leafmap, Folium, etc.
Hands‑on experience in ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, or Google Earth.
SQL mastery and spatial databases (PostGIS, SQL Server spatial).
Cloud experience with Azure Blob, Azure Data Factory, AWS S3 or GCS.
Good to Have
Build ETL workflows for spatial data.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of metadata standards and geospatial governance.
