Section Engineer – Civil at AECOM

We’re looking for a Section Engineer – Civil to join us on an elevated metro project in Nagpur. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the construction of important parts of the metro system, like the elevated tracks, pillars, and stations. This means making sure everything is built correctly, on time, and safely. You’ll be reading and understanding construction plans, guiding the team on site, and checking the quality of the work. You’ll also work with different teams – project managers, designers, and contractors – to keep everything running smoothly. Keeping track of progress and making sure everyone follows safety rules will be a big part of the job too.

We’re hoping you have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. While the original listing asked for 10 years of experience, we welcome applications from freshers and those with 2-3 years of experience who are eager to learn and grow on a large-scale project. It would be great if you have some familiarity with construction management software like Primavera or AutoCAD, and a basic understanding of how metro rail systems are designed and built. Strong communication skills are important, as you’ll be working with lots of different people.

This position is located in Nagpur, Maharashtra and is an onsite role. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
