Senior Snowflake Data Engineer1 We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake and DBT to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts, along with hands-on experience in transforming and managing large-scale datasets. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes Build and optimize data models using DBT following best practices Develop and manage data warehouse solutions in Snowflake Perform data transformations, cleansing, and validations to ensure high-quality data delivery Collaborate with business analysts, analytics engineers, and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for large datasets Implement testing, documentation, and monitoring for data pipelines and DBT models Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and coding standards Participate in peer reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and architectures Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration techniques Experience in dimensional data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) Strong SQL skills with query optimization experience Experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured data Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools and CI/CD practices Understanding of data quality, testing, and monitoring frameworks Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Exposure to BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation Experience working in Agile delivery environments Experience Required 5–8 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Working at Jade Global Talented people are drawn to world-class organizations that offer outstanding opportunities, and Jade Global is an employer of choice for individuals around the world.
