What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable logging and metrics services for cloud applications.
- Build APIs to expose logs, alerts, and performance data to end users.
- Operate and maintain 30+ production deployments worldwide with 24/7 availability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Helm.
- Integrate observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with product and SRE teams to prioritize features and incidents.
- Write unit and integration tests ensuring high code quality and clean Git history.
What You Need
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go for building distributed systems.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services and Linux environments.
- Expertise with Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry orchestration and observability.
- Infrastructure‑as‑code skills using Terraform (or Spacelift).
- Knowledge of distributed tracing and microservice instrumentation.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Good to Have
- Experience with OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
- Integration of applications with Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Spacelift.
