Sr. Data Engineer – Data Platform — Sr. Data Engineer – Gurugram | Full-time

Join a fast‑growing data platform team that builds end‑to‑end pipelines and a self‑serve data marketplace for enterprise users. You’ll shape the technical strategy, accelerate time‑to‑market, and work directly with analysts, engineers, and program managers.

What You’ll Do
Design and implement scalable data warehouse and lake solutions.
Evaluate and integrate systems to deliver data‑as‑product capabilities.
Partner with enterprise teams to define collaborative development flows.
Create and maintain a backlog with technical program managers.
Build DevOps practices that improve developer experience and deployment speed.
Champion data governance and platform engineering across the organization.
Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure high‑performance data workflows.

What You Need
8+ years experience delivering large‑scale data initiatives.
Deep expertise in Snowflake, Starburst Trino, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server (SSMS).
Hands‑on experience with Apache NiFi or comparable orchestration tools.
Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
Working knowledge of AWS services: S3, EC2, EKS, and RDS.
Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Functional understanding of asset‑management concepts (positions, transactions, pricing, valuation).

Good to Have
Experience using AI‑assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
