Join a fast‑moving delivery team to architect and execute a full migration of a complex data ecosystem into Microsoft Fabric. You will own the end‑to‑end data‑engineering workflow, ensuring clean, performant, and accurate data as the environment scales.
What You’ll Do
- Lead migration of legacy workloads to Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses and Pipelines.
- Write and optimise complex Power Query M scripts for data cleansing and mapping.
- Design end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines integrating SQL Server, SharePoint and Excel.
- Apply advanced SQL and Python/PySpark for high‑volume data transformations.
- Build Power BI data models and DAX reports on a warehoused foundation.
- Audit and refactor existing Power Query for performance at scale.
- Implement validation frameworks to ensure 100 % data accuracy post‑migration.
What You Need
- 23+ years of data engineering or analytics experience.
- Hands‑on delivery with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Lakehouse).
- Expert‑level proficiency in Power Query/M, writing and optimizing from scratch.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.
- Strong Python or PySpark programming for ETL/ELT tasks.
- Proficiency in Power BI DAX, data modelling and report building.
- Solid understanding of data‑warehousing concepts and schema design.
