Website Cargill
Four years of solid SQL and Python experience is what we need, plain and simple. Cargill in Bengaluru is building out its data muscle, and they’re looking for a Data & Analytics Consultant – essentially a Data Engineer – to get stuck in.
The work involves more than just running queries. You’ll be building and maintaining data pipelines, digging into datasets to surface actionable insights, and then translating those findings into clear reports and dashboards. Expect to collaborate with cross-functional teams – digital tech, data engineering, the works – ensuring everything is accurate and consistent. Data modelling will be a key part of the role, as will identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve data quality.
Statistical analysis is also on the cards, using various software and programming languages to spot trends and anomalies – a crucial skill for informed decision-making. This isn’t a purely academic exercise; the goal is to deliver solutions that directly impact business objectives. Frankly, this team is relatively new, so expect a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunity to shape things.
A Bachelor’s degree plus those four years of professional experience are non-negotiable. It’s a moderately complex role, demanding someone who can work with limited supervision – and deliver. Still, the ability to present data effectively is just as important as the analysis itself. If you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity and enjoy turning raw data into a compelling narrative, take a look. This is a hands-on role, requiring someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
